We Say :- There’s something in the air, the distinct whiff of Denim and Leather heralding the long overdue next wave of British heavy metal. Whereas London, rather than Birmingham, may be the crucible of this long awaited renaissance that balance may be about to shift. After a decade and a half hiatus Valous are back, and if the appropriately titled “Rebirth” EP is anything to go by they’re going to make a big noise (in more ways than one) in the UK metal scene.
This is pure, old school fist in the air no-fucking-about Heavy Metal, it’s good to have it back.

Brief History :
Back from a 15 year hiatus and bringing with them a new fire up their asses. This metal five piece are set to continue their plans for planetary ownage and conversion of all who doubt that metal isn’t anything but the one true way.
From brutal angst to tender destruction, the music these guys make, proves to everyone in earshot that metal feels good… feels real good… feels really f*****g good!!!
Career Highlight :
Varies from member to member but an overall highlight would be Playing an EPIC show to a capacity crowd at The Roadhouse in the summer during which we SOLD out of merch in one night & played to a Sea Of Valous Shirts!..!
Plans For The Future :
After an EPIC 2011 of touring we’re ready for 2012 with All Guns blazing with the gig diary filling up for the whole year!
We’re excited to be taking the stage at TWITRFEST in February and BASEMENTFEST in August together with a whole host of shows in and around our native Midlands including a stop at the O2 Academy on the 31st March supporting the Awesome bands ‘My Great Affliction’ and ‘Raven Vandelle’
After the release of our EP Rebirth in November, thoughts have already turned to our debut album which we plan to have ready for release at the band end of 2012!..!

The Combined weight of Valous is a little over 1000 Pounds, but if you remove JD’s head & Mat’s manhood….it would be…considerably LESS!!
