We Say :- Another day, another fantastic band. Today the unblinking eye of the CackBlabbath spotlight falls on the England’s south coast, where Brighton’s Vier are starting to make something of a name for themselves. It’s a reputation that has already started to open doors for the band, taken them as far as a much sought after slot on the bill for Hard Rock Hell V.
And I have the feeling this is just the beginning…
Vier are presently working on their debut album which is due out next year and if the two tracks we have heard so far (Dead Soul Country and Time Bomb Taste) are anything to go by it will be something a bit special. You see although Vier will inevitably be lumped in with all of the other “girl groups”, unlike many of their contemporaries it’s not about style over substance, although they undoubtedly have bucket loads of both. Vier are a band who let their music do the talking… and it talks in tongues, moving between dulcet, melodic and properly ladylike one moment and then high octane, angry and heavy as hell the next.
As a tag the “all-girl band” label will only get you so far, so do the ladies a favour and don’t think of them as that, just think of them as a kick-ass rock band.

Brief History :
Hailing from Brighton the band formed in 2009. The band have been busy over the past couple of years gigging regularly including two UK tours and some great support slots. Vier are all about playing live and have been working hard to develop their show and sound.

Our choice of Van music is phil collins, we like our pre gig naps and a cup of tea.
Funny story though; we once rocked it so hard a guy actually shat himself (and he was wearing white trousers!!!) Nice.
