Plague and Fyre Vs Teutonic Terror. Hell to support Accept

In a tour announcement that is probably more Metal than most venues could handle, it has been announced that the one and only Hell will be touring Europe with Teutonic legends Accept in 2012.

We spoke to Hell’s Kev Bower to get his thoughts on the announcement, I think he’s a bit excited at the prospect….

“To be given the support slot for a European tour with ACCEPT is such an honour and a great privilege. It’s an outstanding opportunity for HELL, and we’re very grateful to their management team for making it happen – thankyou”.

There is a certain familial connection between the two bands, a certain producer and guitarist who was instrumental in the reformation of both bands. Kev reckons that there’s one member of Hell in particular that will be excited by the prospect of this tour…

“It’s also something of a boyhood dream realisation for a certain Andy Sneap, whose Dad once caught him at the school gates, sneaking out of a chemistry exam so he could get to the local record store to snag a clear vinyl copy of ‘Restless And Wild’ on its release day. He’s in Nashville, with the selfsame Teutonic metallers as we speak, working on the followup to their ‘Blood For The Nations’ album – but he’s a guitar player first and foremost, and don’t think he’ll mind me saying that this tour will knock any album production thrills into a cocked hat”.

“Andy’s production hat will go straight back on, though, because we’re starting work on the followup to our ‘Human Remains’ album early next year”

So Accept and Hell, a match made in, erm, heaven ??

“It’s great news, and we look forward to rocking it up with ACCEPT next year. Plague, Fyre, and Teutonic Terror. Nice.”

Here are the tour dates announced so far. Hopefully we’ll see some UK dates added too. And not just one gig in bloody London this time…
