What’s been the band’s highlight of 2010 ?
It’s been a pretty crazy year for us. Since the release of our debut album Shake The Faith through Rocksector Records on March 1st it’s been a lot of gigging & fun. But the highlight for us would have to have been the 10 day UK tour we did with Californian band Dirty Penny in September. We met up with them & hit the World’s End in Camden in the afternoon, moved onto Soho in the evening & a brotherhood friendship was born immediately. We had so much fun on that tour it should have been illegal. Come to think, most of it was!
Thinking back to a year ago, have you achieved what you hoped to ?
Some of it. We got off to a good start, great reviews of the album & two awesome live reviews in Kerrang! but we had hoped to hit more bigger stages than we did. The dates with Sebastian Bach were great & he was a big fan of FR.
What are the ambitions for the coming year ?
To progress and to play bigger & better shows & tour with some of the best bands in the World.
Where would you like to see the band this time next year ?
Touring in a warm country!
If you could play one UK festival next year, which one would it be ?
We’re pencilled in for a few but I guess Download is top of our list.
What has been your favourite album of 2010 ?
Ah thats a tough one as we all have varying tastes. Murderdolls & Crazy Lixx were pretty impressive, as was the new Accept disc.
And what is the best gig you have seen in 2010 ?
Much easier… KISS Sonic Boom over Europe. Still inspiring after all those years!
2011 looks like being a good year for gigs, any you are particularly looking forward to ?
All of them! But mostly the ones we are involved in. Motley Crue 30 year anniversary will be a cracker!
If you could go on tour with any band or musician, who would you pick ?
Probably Crue. We’ve been quoted as “heirs apparent to the Motley Crue ‘Kings Of Sleaze’ throne” so what better way to steal it than right from their heads. I think we’re probably a little too wild to be allowed anywhere near those guys nowadays though. We’d have them off the wagon & in their coffins in no time at all!
What would you like Santa to bring you ?
Lots of White Snow!!! Sleazy Girls & Jagermeister… of course!
